Hospital Cash Plans (HCP) will pay out to you a small tax- free cash sum when you receive hospital treatment. It can be helpful, but it will not cover all of your costs.

For each day that you receive treatment in hospital these plans will pay out a sum depending on the level of cover which you have chosen. This applies whether you are treated as an in-patient or having day surgery.

You will usually be required to state that you are in good health and not undergoing or awaiting any tests or treatment.

Payouts may be too small to cover all of your needs, i.e. the cost of the hospital treatment, or to replace your income while you are off work. However, it could be useful to help cover the expenses like travelling costs or childcare. Apply now!
